Salt Creek Ballet Presents The Sleeping Beauty
Salt Creek Ballet is set to perform the enchanting ballet The Sleeping Beauty on March 22 at the McAninch Arts Center in Glen Ellyn, with shows at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Under the artistic direction of Erica De La O and Kristopher Wojtera, the company aims to bring Tchaikovsky's classic story to life, emphasizing its themes of good versus evil in a family-friendly format. The performance will feature a visual synopsis to help the audience follow the narrative, ensuring an engaging experience for all ages.
In addition to the main performances, attendees are invited to join "Aurora's Birthday," an interactive event for children to learn ballet sections. This year, a VIP experience will be offered, including exclusive photo opportunities with dancers and insights into their costumes from various productions. Established in 1985, Salt Creek Ballet continues to enrich the community through its dedication to dance education and captivating performances, following their recent success with The Nutcracker.
